WWII Veterans Taking Radio Technicians Class, early 1950’s

According to donor Annie Williams, these men are GI’s returned from service in WWII, taking a course in radio technology. Ms. Williams identified her father, Willie Williams, 3rd from right top row; the instructor Mr. Dorsey, seated wearing white coverall; and Jesse Gibson, third from left, of the NC Employment Service. A number of classes for returning GIs were held at Stephens-Lee High School, probable location of this image.
NC Collection, Pack Memorial Public Library, black and white print loaned for scanning by Annie M. Williams.
