Anthony Lord, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, addresses the gathering for the opening 11/18/1978 of Pack Memorial Library at 67 Haywood Street. Identified in the circle to the right of the aisle: library trustee Miss Annie Westall, retired librarian Mrs. Irene O. Hendrick, System Director Kenneth Brown, Wilma Dykeman (author and speaker at the ceremony), and the elected officials Roy Trantham, Curtis Ratcliff and Richard Wood.
