3rd Library Location

The 1887 City Directory lists the third library location as 53 South Main Street (now Biltmore Avenue), above Samuel R. Kepler’s Grocery Store. Kepler’s grocery, shown in this photo of a drawing, was on the west side of Main Street opposite the Eagle Hotel, and next door to the Ban of Asheville.
